Older website the better....Google thinks the same

You may achieve high rankings very quickly for words that nobody is searching for, but as Covey so aptly put it, these will be illusory and deceptive results at best. If no one uses those words in the engine's search box, all the #1 rankings in the world won't keep your business afloat.

It's imperative to think of the search engine optimization process as a long-term investment for your site, so here are 5 tips to help you invest in your future success:

Thoroughly research your keyword phrases using the paid versions of Wordtracker or KeywordDiscovery. Keyword research is completely and utterly the key to everything that is search marketing.

Make sure your site is not made up of graphics alone, as these cannot be read by the search engine spiders that come a-crawling. (This is especially true of graphics that look like text -- these are often used when a particular font is desired.)

Be sure to use natural, easy-to-understand language that conveys the message of your website and includes keyword phrases you'd like your site to rank highly for.

BE sure your Title tags and link anchor text all jibe with the visible content on the page.
Be patient! You knew I'd end with that one, but with Google's aging delay in place for new sites, patience is more important than ever.
It's most likely going to be a good 9 months before you start seeing much (if any) traffic from Google's natural results. Don't be discouraged, but instead use that time to constantly make your site better than the other guy's.

Remember, you are working toward the future. Good placement achieved by doing things the right way will have staying power over time with very little additional effort. Like everything in life, if you spend the time and money to do it right to begin with, the long-term results will always be impressive.

Google Search Engine tips "unavailable_after" meta-tag

Google is soon going to introduce new kind of meta tags which will enable webmasters and bloggers to block the webpage from spidering after a certain date, which means if the website owner or the blogger does not want spider to spider the page then they will be able to do it. This is one of kind meta tag which will introduced by Google. I think its a awesome move to enhance the command of the webmasters with the Search engine.
The meta tag is 'unavailable_after'. This enables the webmaster to have an expiry date for crawlers and stop them to spider the website after certain period.
This would be beneficial if the website owner is having a contest till a particular date and after the date has passed they can now stop the crawlers from indexing. A move from google which should be welcomed and appreciated. Although they haven't introduced it till now but Google has plans to implement it in the near future.

Google content duplication penalty

Google's content duplication is applied by google when there there is duplication of content present on the website. It is applied when the same content is found on many different different website, this is done by google to prevent the websites from spamming google with the same content to attain high search engine rankings for any keyword.

Google does this to stop webmasters and bloggers to copy paste the same content from websites which have got original content website. Google might even delist the website from there index when there is lot of copied content from other websites. Spamming is one thing which Google does not like and they have got different techniques to prevent spamming.

Instead of copying content from website, webmasters and bloggers should create quality and unique content for their website which search engines love. Google loves quality and they will rank the content higher if its unique and useful. Google decreases the rank of the website when they find same content on different websites. People should be aware of this and this may result in loss of many quality visitors for their website.

Google relies on websites and bloggers which create content which are original. Many people in the past believed this was one way of getting high search engine rankings this worked for some time but as people got smarter so did Google so google started removing the website from their index. So now spamming Google with duplicate with useless and crappy copied content from other website would result in no traffic, so create genuine and useful timeless content and get high search engines rankings.

Making money online through blogging ...Adsense or Affliate marketing

Many bloggers have made blogging a habit. They write what they like or know on their blog.
I been using Internet for the for the last four years, but I was into Adsense a year ago, which helped me take my first step towards making money online. I considered making money online was only a dream which was not going to come true but when I came to know about Google Adsense and how much people have gained through it without even working much with it, then it made me dive into the sea of online advertising by blogging and using blogs to promote affiliate products.
Although PPC like (adsense, bidvertiser, clicksor and many other companies) require page views and clicks to allow you make money, affiliate programs allow to share the revenue of the product or services offered.
Since both are based on completely different grounds I think PPC are more suitable for bloggers at an early stage till when the blogs gets hundreds or thousands visitors a day. Although both can be used simultaneously the latter require more time to succed than PPC which most of the bloggers consider at an early stage.
Google Adsense has been the undisputed champion of pay-per-click advertising by allowing blogger and webmasters to earn even thousands of dollars in a day. I consider Affliate marketing as a more professional advertising which depends lot on the product which you are trying to promote. The promotion needs much trusted website as people try ro avoid from links on blogs and they consider searching on Google,Yahoo or other trusted places which provide much more confidance into the buyer because of theor credibility.Clickbank and commision junction have been a great directories of digital products for affiliate marketers due to their vast variety of digital products and services.
So what do consider is a better option for making money online PPC or affiliate marketing?

Parts of Search Engines

Parts Of A Search Engine
A search engine consists of three major components.
These are:
The Crawler or SpiderFrequently called a spider, the crawler is a piece of software that analyzes the contents of web page and compares it to the keywords or search term used by the searcher. It follows any links provided on the page and assesses the relevance of these links to the content of the page. You can enter html text to ensure that spiders do not follow any link that you do not want them to do. To do this enter the following after the URL statement in the HTML: rel=nofollow. If you add this inside the HTML tag – just before the last chevron ‘>’ is a good place, the spider will ignore the link.

The crawler will visit your site on a regular basis and it is wise to keep your content fresh and updated. You will be listed higher if your content is regularly refreshed or added to so that the spider can see that it is not stagnant between visits.

The Index:The results of the spiders search are put into the index. It is simply an index of the web pages found relating to the search term used. It is possible for your web page to have been visited by the spider, but is not yet included in the index. It will not be included if the spider software doe not consider your site sufficiently relevant to the search term, or keyword, used and is unlikely to be included if you site is a copy of one already indexed, or its content is similar.
The best chance your page has of being included, especially in a high position, is if you have unique content to offer anyone any searching for information on a specific keyword.Your content should also be up to date and regularly refreshed. If you have few pages indexed in a search engine such as Google, you will be unlikely to be included in free directories such as Dmoz since your site will not be different enough from all the other sites on the same subject to warrant inclusion.

The Search Engine Software:This is the coding that searches all the pages in the index and list them in order of decreasing relevance to the search term being used by the user. Google, like most other search engines, wants to satisfy its customers, and not present them with a gaggle of web pages irrelevant to or all with the same information on what they are seeking.

The more specific a searcher is with the keywords used, the more relevant will be the information provided by the search engines.
So, the more specific you make a search, the more specific will be the information, and if you have a website, specific pages on your site giving good information on certain aspects of the subject are liable to be listed higher than your home page.
